Just replaced my Sti backbox with a scoobyworld Ninja job.
Won't bother expanding too much about how great it is - I beleive this has already been covered, but HELL IT'S NICE!!!! and the price! FANTASTIC!!
Anyway all that out of the way - I've just been in touch with my insurers to let 'em know. I'm saying there's going to be only a negligable power gain if anything at all over the OEM Sti system.
Am I right in saying this??

it is negligable the power gain BUT most insurers state that a back box is akin to an exhaust modification and as long as you are not incresing power by more than 15% they are ok. If so you can change more of the system and get more power for the same price. Haggle and shop around it works

nice one, read good reports about the Ninja, previously had an a/burner (also scoobyworld) on my old car, very loud with decat, but now have a P1
on the P1 i got rid of the sti centre and b/box (poor imo) for a V2 system via scoobymania, notable difference especially in mid range pull and the sound, yum
... good thing is that altho declared my insurers don't want any extra £££
