Question

These cars really appeal to me. Near WRX performance with none of the associated hassle / discomfort.

What are the tuning options? I understand they're more limited because of the twin turbos?

Apparently this is true with 350bhp being a realistic maximum without grenading the primary turbo.

I hear that in Japan, a lot of the big power ones ditch both turbos for a single big one like they do on the Supras/Skylines etc.

What about nitrous? the biturbo is supposed to respond well to this esecially if you stage it so that it overcomes the "Valley of Death" before the 2nd turbo comes in.

Cool

There will be a ECUTEK option soon for the B4/GTB owners

Check out the 'legacyb4' site on yahoo groups.

Then start asking Qs

A wealth of knowledge on there.

And we are already tuning the computers here

Ask Paul H on the legacyb4 yahoo group - it is about time he told someone about his car

Oh, and 350 would have to be a very, very well prepped one - pump, injectors, computer tune, in and out side breathing mods (incl. IC), headers etc. Not to mention a battery of gauges and cool looking stuff to make sure it stays in one bit

A decat won't get you there <would likely get you a new engine though >

You can covert them to parallel turbo by just changing hoses.

I am getting 300Hp out of my one, and I haven't changed much at all.
