Over the last week or so the car started to hesitate slightly and now it misfires very badly (the car is MY93 WRX). It's that bad it sounds like i've got anti lag but just don't have any power, foot to the floor and nothing. This seems to be worse when cold but is also intermitent. The car idles fine but i do seem to have to start it twice as it dies first time.

The spark plugs are over a year old..... maybe coil packs (just said the other that ikm lucky i've never changed these)??? I've checked the earthing and it seems ok. I've also been changing maps quite alot on my scoobyecu and it seems to have started since i resoldered the link and ran on the standard ecu.... since switched back to a known good map.

Confused at the moment..... hope it gets me from Milton Keynes back to Manchester today ok .

Tony.

When it misfires usually down to coilpacks & or spark plugs.....consider coil packs have broken down though....
