I just bought a Blitz SUS kit second hand. It came off a MY99, and I have a MY98. I thought Blitz only provide 2 types for classic, 1 for 93-96, and 97-00?

The problem I have is the spaces for the bolts that should fix the MAF and the bottom plate on the induction kit don't line up. Same width, but not length, if that makes sense. Any guidance would be appreciated.

The guy I spoke to at Race Logic didn't seem too helpful, since I didn't buy it new from them...

Thanks

Hi,

I got caught out with this too, only with HKS and they didn't have a clue either.

The Japs quote 2 types 93-96 and 97-00, however, UK 97-98 cars have the same size MAF as 93-96 cars whereas the Jap 97-98 models don't, they have the same size as our UK 99-00.

So, what it should say is that the 2 types are:

1. 93-96 Jap spec 93-98 UK spec
2. 97-00 Jap spec 99-00 UK spec

So unfortunately, that filter won't fit. Your easiest option will be to sell that one on and buy the correct fitment for your car.

Sorry

Rich
