whats the best/easiest way to do the clutch on a legacy last time i took the engine out as i had to do the timing belt and plugs too so figured it would be a dodle with the engine hanging on the crane but this time i just need a clutch done.
is the box as heavy as it looks as i dont fancy trying to locate it on the studs while trying to hold it up lying on my back
I think engine out again as there is no heavy work that way but how does everyone else do it?

The box drops out so easily, plus you dont have to get involved with getting the air out of the cooling system afterwards. Knock out bottom ball joints on the suspn legs, roll pins on inner drive shafts, hey presto, out she rolls, can even leave on jack, simply roll back enough to get hands inside bell housing.
