Just had a TSL Firestorm BB fitted to my existing system, this is
3" all the way through, the firestorm is 2"5/8.
So basically the gasses will be flowing from a 3" bore to a smaller bore, will this cause any performance problems?

Whats your existing system. The standard bore of a scoob exhaust is 2" 5/8 as you put it say 2 1/2".
The neck of the joints opens out to nearly 3". Or have you got a none standard mid section on it?

I dont see this as causing any probs or restriction. The firestorm doesnt perform any less well than any other performance BB. I think any BB will only give you a couple of BHP and that it is more to do with the rest of the system (the further back you go the more performance you will get)
Like i said, i have one on my standard MY02 and it definately makes the car perform better. I have no other mod and i had it as standard for 12 months before i bought it so i can feel the performance change and this has certainly been the case.
