Question

There's a 'hanger'/fixing point at the back end of the DP (a bracket), just before the connection to the centre. Or rather, it would be nice if there was, but mine has been removed (not by me, I have to point out ).
Anyway, I have no idea what or where the bracket - currently in a plastic bag - is meant to attach to. I don't suppose anyone has any diagrams/photos/explanation as to where it goes? Ground clearance is something I'd rather not talk about at the moment and I hate to think of the stress the exhaust system is probably putting on the turbo

Aha. Ta.
There's a fair few bolts n'stuff down there on the gearbox - is it the 'obvious' choice? There's a couple of holes in the bracket for bolts - presumably the pair that this fits to (or rather most obviously fits to as they're all fairly similar distances apart)would be the ones? It seemed right when I looked, I just didn't want to take any bolts on the gearbox off that I shouldn't!

Nom, right at the back of the gearbox (output to prop shaft) just below there should be a bracket bolted to the gearbox which hangs off to the right (if looking from back of car), this bracket is solely for the downpipe to bolt to.

Hope thats clear,

Steven

Sorry with it now i think, your on about where to bolt the hanger

i forgot to attach muine, when putting the box back in, so had to do it once on the car. it was fairly easy.

if you look up where the gear linkage joins the box, the holes should be there (quite high up though IIRC), with a good light you should be able to see them.
