I think I know what a downpipe is but what is an up-pipe? Is it the pipe that joins the exhaust headers to the turbo or something completely different?

Cheers,

Vindaloo.

Close, thats the headers and the up-pipe. On Scoobies its a 2 piece assembly.

The up-pipe is a roughly 12" item that joins the headers to the turbo.

On post 01 WRX's it contains a small Cat.

James.
