Whats the switch for on preMY97 throttle pedals?
#1
I'm shortly going to be fitting a My97/98 manifold to my car and as such need to put an idle switch somewhere (as the later TPS doesn't have one). I did think about putting it on the throttle pedal but i was told that there is one already there (thanks Rob ). Anybody know what this is used for... and maybe the voltage it uses too?
Cheers,
Tony.

Won't the old TPS unit fit on the new manifold? Might be the easier option?
No idea at all what the throttle switch does - unless it's there to indicate maximum throttle?

I'll have a look too - on SelMon as well to see if it shows up as a flag bit. I hate mysteries, and I can't imagine Subaru fitting 2 switches that do more or less the same thing.
Oh and take a hacksaw to the ISCV. Problem solved
(It creates another, but that's life )
