Question

Removing the Engine frmo MY96 RA this weekend....anyone got any advice, hints or tips before i shred my knuckles and turn the air blue

Good luck,
Make sure you have a gasket set for the engine and exhaust system
1. Undo intercooler,
2. Drain oil
3. drain washer fluid & rad
3A. Remove nuts from clutch housing may have to remove downpipe for ease
4. Remove all nuts & bolts
5. Trolley jack under gearbox raise it up to help with engine removal
6. Engine out

From: Leeds - It was 562.4bhp@28psi on Optimax, How much closer to 600 with race fuel and a bigger turbo?

Well the inlet manifold is already off, exhaust system is completely removed, oil is dranied, think i got an exhaust gasket off david when i had his turbo.

So on with the show then.....
