Had a Blitz SUS Cone filter fitted to My Scoob for about a week and all I can say is get one, the kick in the back when the revs hit 3000 is quality, I now just hold on and enjoy, its worth every penny for the torque improvement let alone the looks. Only downside is mines a Type RA and it fouls the water spray box abit so I've had to remake the mounting brackets.
Thanks to Jamie at JW Racing for suppling at a good price.

Had one on my MY99 STi for a few months now - no issues
The main thing is make sure it doesn't vibrate, retro fit a method of bolting it in place and it won't move.
Never used to hear my re-circulating DV until this was fitted!

That's right! Never heard my DV until i fitted a Apexi Dual Power cone filter ( this is paper type....no oil needed. use for 20k and throw ) Concerned about my AFM fouling...
On the other hand, the re-circulating DV sounds and makes me think that it is reversing air flow at the inlet tract when it opens and venting out to the atmosphere passing through the air filter.
My doubt is...Can this happen? or is it happening on cars fitted with open pod filters? Will it cause the afm to read wrongly?
