Unhappy

Anyone one had this problem of clutch judder in 1st gear while trying to pull away? Also bad in traffic.

Thanks

It's a common problem with scoobies, seems to come and go on mine - worse when the car is cold, after a few miles its ok.

There is a dealer fix but but it involves fitting a part from a P1 (cant remember what exactly - try a search on clutch judder).

Most likely be hot spots on your flywheel, it is quite common

Have had the same problem too. Subaru in NZ said that it is condensation on the clutch disk or a glazed clutch. I have never had it looked at and the problem has gone away or maybe I have just adapted too it. Nothing to worry about.

Yep, get it every now and again in the mornings too.

Wouldn't worry too much, it goes away on mine after a few sets of traffic lights in the town, or about 5 mins driving.

As per the SIDC FAQ, you can usually get rid of low-grade judder with an enthusiastic standing start or two.
