Ive just fitted a turbosmart bov and a k&n filter to my 94 wrx, the filter gives off alot of wastegate chirp which sounds louder than the bov from inside is it meant 2 be like this?

 

has n e 1 else got a k&n which makes the same noise? and 2 be honest im hate the noise it makes.

 

Dan I have a Trust induction kit in my STI but previously had a replacement K&N panel filter. The K&N made no noticable noise difference. I could still hear the turbo etc. Since i changed it to the trust unit that is all I can hear, very very loud. No need for a BOV i dont think.
