Question

I am in the final throws of picking up a UK MY99 prodrive WR Sport.

A one liner from the IWOC states that putting in anything less than Super would lead to significant power loss, actually below UK spec from the 240 (ish ) quoted for the WR version.

Is this true of the facelifted 99 models or from earlier version when the ECU wasn't as 'flexible'?

Not a show stopper, but something that needs to be considered parting with a wedge.

Many thanks.
