Which exhaust system is the best and why?
Choices are:
Scooby World's AFTERBURNER
Scooby Sport's JANSPEED
Litchfield's MILTEK SPORTS
Or if there are other systems out there that you think are better please let me know.

Mines a uk car, my (model year) 2000.
The downpipe made the biggest change, but it would be advisable to learn a bit about your car before you start chinging that, the back box would be fine to do though, and I'm sure you won't have a centre cat anyway, but the downpipe could make things not run right, might be worth asking someone who knows more than me, I'm bang in the middle of the county if I can help!"

How much power would a back box release compared with an entire system? Is the back box the most essential part?
Litchfield claim their system will give you full power 1000 revs further down the rev range whilst scooby sport say their system gives full power 500 revs further down.
Can any exhaust give you the same power 1000 revs down?

Make sure you use octane booster + optimax, a knock link wouldn't be a bad idea either. Do not de-cat the car without a knock-link as you are likely to destroy the engine without knowing anything is wrong! I have a 99 STi Type R, which has a Blitz Nur SPec R exhaust and a "pat special" downpipe - although I had the car remapped for UK fuel.
