Going to junk the standard plastic induction pipe for something a little better. Looks as though getting old one out and inserting new is going to be tricky without raising the intake manifold.
Is it possible, or is removal the easiest option? Need to know so I can get a couple of gaskets in ready...
Also, I guess the Samco pipe is the obvious choice, but are there any better ones?

Samco has been known to collapse under boost - although it was wuite a bit of boost! The Samco also needs the inlet manifold removing.
The alternative is the BPM/MRT marketed one. This doesn't collapse, and also doesn't need the manifold removing, but not removing it means that the original pipe must be broken to be removed, and the whole job isn't much fun! Takes around 6 hours too, and instead of gaskets, you'd need plasters...

Cheers Nom, sounds like I'll be taking the manifold off then! Perfect excuse to give the block and other bits under it a good clean!
Any pointers on where to get the MRT pipe?
