Fitted FSE Fuel Pump
#1
Well i finally got round to fitting the FSE (Walbro) fuel pump i had in the garage for 2 months. Thanks to everyone on here who posted instructions and photos.
I found the replacement quite easy but it was far from a 10 minute job as i had to do a bit of soldering to get the original connections to fit into the plug on the new pump. Looking at the pump box, i wonder if i got the right one as there is one there with post type connectors like the original. Now that would have been easier!
Anyway - all done now and it seems to work fine so far. I put the old sock filter back on as that seemed to be the concensus here.
Just that uprated fuel reg now (only just got that) and i'm ready for the main event... Oh - and a Knock Link.
Thanks again to all those who posted instructions.
Cheers, Jon
