Question

Had a thought about MAF sensor and the risks associated with it. Especially as I wont to move my tuning on a stage soon.

Made me think, its supposed to read within a certain value right?

Well what about making up a small box of electronics which can check the value and generate a warning light or buzzer if it reads outside this range?

Could be kept discreet, just an led somewhere or the buzzer can be hidden...

sure there is a flaw in my plan just cant think what it would be...

See my 22b thread. I'm working on a conversion to speed density. You could use parts of something like this to set a minimum acceptable MAF voltage for a given RPM, charge temperature and MAP signal, but I figure if you are doing all that you may as well convert it. You could of course just use a knock or lambda link or similar
