Cool

Right just a quicky people.

Can you get pops and bangs from a system with a cat in it? I am thinking you cant.... Dont really want to keep changing the exhaust every mot.

I believe the Classic turbo has 2 cats. Can I change the downpipe
(1 cat left) and have a cat back exhaust... will this give me pops and bangs?

Cheers.

Rob.

I have a P1 d/pipe (catted) and a Scoobysport mid section & back box.
This pops and bangs still. Best noise is in 2nd gear when trickling along at 1000/1500 rpm.

Thumbs up

Hi Rob,

Just had a TSL Firestorm backbox only, fitted to my 99 Type RA, which I think only has 1 CAT in the downpipe, and just resonator box in the centre section.
And it pops and bangs like a goodun! Really quite loud ones when warmed up too!

Rob if all your after is pops and bangs then I think the centre cat is best to remove not the downpipe one. I only suggest this as I dont know of anyone who gets pops and bangs with centre cat.

Cool,

Not sure what i am going to do yet. I am very tempted by the
Scoobyworld Ninja Rear silencer. (Sound and price) will always
swing it for me

Not sure what else i would need... cat replacement pipe?

Thanks.

Rob.

I have a full decat on my MY97 WRX and it pops and bangs with the occasional flame. You could always keep the center cat for those MOT moments as it takes about 20 mins to refit, and will pass the MOT.
