Question

I have just removed the resonator on my MY99 Turbo. Blimey I didn't expect it to be so complex and large.

Anyway I'm wondering if anyone has modified the resonator to duct more air into the airbox? Has anyone used ducting from around the indicator area? And ultimately is it worth the effort?

i moddyd my resonator by cutting a hole in the bottom of it and used some of that flexible tin pipe from an induction kit from the bottom of the res to the vent under the indicator on an my98 then taped off the origional air intake under the bonnet and added a panel filter so basically i have a boxed in induction kit which can only get air from outside surely thats got to be better than getting warm air from the engine bay hasn't it?
