Anybody recommend a cheaper alternative to the £100 Subaru item. I've heard mixed reviews on the Halfords universal Lambda and would like something to last longer than a couple of months.

Try oxy sensor , just over £26 plus vat. I got mine next day. Been on the car for a while without problems. You get the heat shrink/connectors to connect onto thye subaru connector.

Tony.

Sensor on yours will be in the header on the drivers side.
You'l see it by looking under the front of the car, towards the drivers side

Steve

The ouch is £300 for a lambda sensor.
All others seem to be £100=£200.
