Up pipe......worth changing??

I've already got a full de-cat on my UK '97 turbo,what can I expect,if anything,from changing the standard u/pipe??

Difficult to say.
Most people change the up-pipe in conjuction with other things (usually turbo) so can't determine benefit of up-pipe on its' own.
New age cars seem to benefit from the change but they have a cat in their original up-pipe, so no surprise.
Have you ported the std headers? maybe more of a benefit than the hassle of changing the up-pipe.
