Assuming max revs of say 7500 / 8000
What power do you think the block would try and split and possibly spin a bearing?
assuming the heads are secured well

Youve decided that your limiting yourself to 450 ish..
My gearbox looking a Jun's site can take 600..
so do I limit myself to 600 or run over 600??

I think your best bet is to fabricate a metal container under the car, then at least you can catch some of the bits, you could also put some steel bars along side the liners to try and hold back the inch of bore distortion with your 18 bar of boost and a bucket over the exhaust pipe with a pump init to put the oil back in the engine. Weld the two block halfs together, run it air cooled and weld the heads on....sorted.

I think Rod at Axis racing is running a few 2.4 engines at 2.2bar on a big garrett with a 150 nos shot, that must be 600+ I would guess ? Depends on the use ? 1/4mile you can get away with loads, trackday use is far more punishing.

Not sure ? He never mentioned uprated block bolts in his emails. HUGE head studs though ! (which you will already have I'm sure)
You will find him on NASIOC, (Axis power racing) look under Vendors for sale, he has a deal on complete 2.4 bottom ends just now..........mmmmmmm

I have seen some use ARP studs on the block, but they were no bigger than standard, could be in higher tension though.
Did I scare you?
It might be worth dowelling a journal or two to help keep things in line?
