Question

Can someone please explain what might the fault/reason for huge hesitation. It’s a STI7, just serviced and with approx. 5 K miles on the clock.
Had a long drive today, stopped to buy a coffee (cooled down properly). 10 minutes later, started up as normal and took off and the car accelerated like a 7 tons truck???
Drove for about 2-3 minutes and all of a sudden I got THE power back. Seems to me that the turbo was off for a while. Anybody with a reasonable explanation?
Thanks!

Could be whilst you were parked up the intercooler got very hot from the engine. circa 50-70 degrees C. If you then steam off thinking the car is already warmed up the charge temp will be so hot that the turbo will not be flowing as much air hence it feel laggier. I always go easy for the first 5 minutes so as to give the intercooler to cool down.

Thanks for the reply, think that might be the case as it was +25 degrees and sunny and due to traffic it was pretty slow before the stop.
Cheers
