Excuse my total ignorance here - but!!!!!
Having a spirited run tonite - changing down to 3rd peddle went solid and after a short time became totally loose with no resistance at all, followed by smoke under the car which later I believe was clutch fluid hitting the exhaust manifold. Car is a 22B with an AP clutch.
I killed the ignition selected 2nd and restarted, in gear, and drove 6 miles home in 2nd - quite challenging when you cant stop at junctions.
Now the clutch peddle depresses fully with no resistance at all feels like no spring at all just free - is this how AP's go when they fail? I rally dont know - but if it is its expensive - methinks.

Sounds like either the master cylinder, slave cylinder, or hose.
Shouldn't be too bad on the wallet
