How would i get flames out of my exhaust with out either setting the car on fire or fitting a flame kit? I would rather have natural flaming then a flame kit. Personal preference really.

Flames are achievable with a just VTA dump valve and full de-cat.

I had this set up a while back but never had any. Sold the dump valve to someone else with the same set up and he was flaming quite happily.

Bit of a bugger because flames were the reason behind me buying the dv in the first place.

I have just fitted a small bonnet scoop/vent to the induction side and it has made the pops and bangs a hell of a lot more frequent and I imagine there are more flames too.

Have you removed the cat in the downpipe?
It's right after the turbo!

Chances are the big cat in the DP is still there, if you pass the MOT it is there

You can't miss it, its bolted to the back of the turbo and it's huge!!! Really saps the power Theres a cat-less down pipe for sale Here

i have a KandN induction kit, scoobysport up-pipe and down-pipe, uprated fuel pump and reg. I used to run the original exhaust from down-pipe back and the car was silent

Just switched original exhaust for Afterburner system and the car sounds like a wrc car, pops bangs crackling - the works -

Yeah I was kinda banking on flames now that I have a full decat and VTA but its not happening. I suppose thats a good thing as it means it isn't going mental with the fuel after the dump

I think you can hear it - so I'm told. Also at night you can see the flash in the rear view

Gets flames with a recirc DV!

Lights up the hedges on my way home on the dark and made P20SPD very excited as he was following me one night!
