Anyone else fitted a Bailey dumpvalve to a Samco intercooler pipe. The diameter of the dump valve is too big for the one from the intercooler. Anyone made a fitting kit out of bits & bobs who would like to point me in the right direction? I've tried loads of plumbing bits but to no avail

I used a bit of samco the right size for the aftermarket dumpvalve, I put a bit of water hose over the plastic pipe coming from the turbo to intercooler pipe (cut to the length of the plastic pipe). Then I simply put the samco hose onto the plastic pipe(with water hose over to make up size) and put jubilee clip in place.
After all that though the car would stall when slowing quickly (normal cheap style dumpalve)
Got a Blitz one on it's way soon though..

Bailey do a fitting Kit for the scoob to get around this problem & also check the dumpvalve has a rod inside the valve (put your finger up the hole & feel)If it does it's the correct type (twin Piston to stop rough running / Stalling @ idle) if not it is the wrong one. Also bailey will uprate the spring for free if you are running higher than standard boost.

I know it's the right one but thanks for the concern I've had it in small pieces on my coffee table to replace the smaller of the two springs myself Bailey wanted over £30.00 to do this
Right lets speak to Bailey then & hopefully fix the problem. I guess it's gonna be either a variable diameter hose & a piece of metal pipe or vice-versa?
