Question

A question for the Ecutek guru's, I currently have a Tek2 ECU on my car but have recently bought a TD05 converted to front entry from Mark A, and was wondering if I could fit the turbo and run it with the Tek2 ecu until I get a Tek3 or Link. Would the car run ok???

It will be OK but keep boost to a minimum. Take it easy with the car.

I think the Tek 2 has a leaner map than the stock ECU map, so with the TD05 it could run even leaner cos of the increased airflow and I think, (not sure on this one), it runs more advance too, so take it easy.

Cheers,

Wrexy.

As George said, the big issue is really the ignition advance. Keep it below 10 PSI boost and you'll be fine.
