Question

I am thinking of fitting this unit to a P1 and a MY2000 legacy.
Has anyone fitted one? If so are they effective, from an MPG and performance point of view?

Any drawbacks?

Where did you fit it and any problems?

Thanks

Bob

I did a search on this the other day.
Some claim a slightly better mpg of about 2/3 mpg but generally not an overall positive response.

I have one fitted to MY00. It does improve mpg, but only if you keep revs below 3K. Above that, when turbo kicks in, it automatically shuts off (according to Ecotek lit.) I have achieved about 2mpg better, but you have to put up with the toy trumpet noise when you decelerate. Hard to tell any difference in performance overall.
