Question

The car: WRX03 PPP, the mileage: 5000.
Saturday 26th, raining.
Ran low on petrol (light on for about 15 miles) then I got desperate and got £10 worth of NUL. A couple of miles further on I came across a Shell garage and filled the tank with Optimax.
90 miles later on the motorway, doing 65 in 5th, I changed down to 4th and floored it. Started accelerating normally, then it missfired once, I slacked off immediately and noticed the CEL was illuminated. Pulled off the motorway with everything sounding and running normally, CEL still on. Next morning CEL was off, acceleration normal, and no problems since (another 500 miles since then). What should I check? Was I just being too heavy with the accelerator?

Oh, and the boot was full of stuff, and one passenger (in the passenger seat, not the boot). i.e. carrying a lot of weight.

Dealer should be able to pull the ecu error code via the select monitor.Take it to them for verification (Assumin the ecu hasn't lost the code by now!!)

Good luck
