hi guys,

I currently have a Prodrive RB5, which I believe has around 240bhp.
What is the difference between my engine and a P1? I think Revs higher I think the redline is at 8k and not 7k like in mine. So what is actually different to give it that extra 40bhp. Just a different map with higher revs or are the internals different?

Cheers

Dwayne

The extra power comes from different camshafts, bigger turbo and different map. For supposed reliability, they have forged pistons. They also have sodium filled valves. Not sure about whether they have uprated rods and an uprated crankshaft. But I doubt it.

Cheers,

Wrexy.
