I had my MY99 (AE800 ECU) wagon dynod again this morning now that I've fitted the Hayward & Scott decat centre and back box. It's added about 13 bhp and is allowing the turbo to produce more boost and spool up earlier:

I was also told that the gas analyzer up it's bum was reporting aroud 11%CO towards the top end where it should be about 14%, above approx 5200rpm and that this was due to the loss of back pressure.

Any experience here bear this out? Obviously lean is bad but how bad is 11% v 14%? I don't wanna kill my engine until I can get it remapped!

Gas analysers are not always quick enough, but 11% is fine Worry if it is below 7%.
