Unhappy

After washing the car this afternoon, I popped the bonnet up to check on the fluid levels and found that the oil level was well below the minimum infact it barely wetted the end of the dipstick
Question is how much oil does a MY01 with PPP use ?, as it was serviced only 5700 miles ago, its got Es$o Ultron in it,

How much oil will take it from below the L to H on the dipstick,

Sorry for all the questions - just a bit concerned now

It shouldn't be using any .... top it up back to in between the min and max marks ... then check weekly, its most likely whoever carried out the oil change didn't fill it correctly.

Thumbs up

Remember to check the dipstick on flat ground having run the engine for a couple of mins just to warm the engine very slightly. You may find that you dont have to top it up that much

It took just under 1 litre of Es$o's finest Ultron to get it back up to the 'H' mark

Will check levels again next w/e

With the car cold, with the engine off long enough to let all the oil drain into the sump, on level ground it should read half way between low and high.

Do not be tempted to overfill it, oil can get into the boost control solonoid which will then need cleaning out. You should be OK filling it to the high mark, but next time IMO for best results don't go over halfway.
