Oil consumption (J20 MY96)
Hi ALL!
I own GC8 impreza GT 2.0 turbo (EUDM? ) from 1996. ...
It has a steering wheel on (your) wrong side - on the left... (I'm from Croatia)...
When I bought the car, it had 10w50 Fuchs Pro S in it, but last oil change I swiched over to 15w50 Motul 300v...
Both oils are used at our 2 local subaru dealerships and are recommending it...
First 5-6-7 months, when I nedeed to pour some more oil, I calculated that in between oil change intervals, car consumed from 0,3 to maybe 0,5 L of oil...
I check oil levels regulary, but last 2 months, I'm really confused because of wird oil consumption...
Sometimes it happens that in a week or so (every ~200 miles) i notice that around 0,5 or more liters are missing (went from F to L on the stick)...
On the other hand, sometimes it's missing almost nothing comparing it to the last check...
It started to happen before i swiched over to another oil...
Comment are welcome!

Could be many reasons tbh, worn piston rings, turbo seal, is there any signs of oil leaks under the car? One thing you must do is keep checking it often..
