Unhappy

I have just returned from Baku after 2 months and after starting car found the engine behaving erratically.
The engine immediately after firing revs to 2500 rpm then drops to 2000 rpm , it continues in this fashion, pulsing every second within this range.
The car was running perfectly bafore leaving and the only cause I can think of ,is the battery was charged during my absence.
Could any damage have been done to my Link ?

Did you have to try to fire it up several times? It's a small "feature" of the link - let the car idle, and get up to temperature and it'll go away.

It seems to be a small issue with the idle controller.

Let it calm down, and settle at the regular idle revs, and turn it off - and restart it.

Always wondered what that was
I thought it was air getting into the fuel lines (or bubbles forming over time if the car's resting a long time) as it seems to always do it after playing with fuel hoses!
Whatever; it goes away pretty quick

SAM,
Your 100% correct!
I restarted and just let it (LINK) do its thing .
Settled back to a rock steady 800 rpm after a frenetic 3-4 minutes.
I'm back in business - trouble is back in Baku 2 weeks time!
