They're all within £50 of each other - so which one?

-Are they really twice as good as an EBC Power clutch
-Are they really 4 times better than a Borg & Beck for 90 quid?!

(The Leggy won't be going much over 280bhp and 240lbs/ft btw)

My Borg n beck held 320bhp n 290lbft, no slipping and quite a few drag days..
However, that is probably why it only lasted 6k miles

p.s. the Lateral clutch seems to be the choice to go for at the moment.

for the low(er) torque and power you're looking at, borg and beck would be my choice!

Not an answer, I'm afraid, but a related question: What sort of insurance hit does an uprated clutch incur?

How in blazes would your insurance company ever know!! Surely this is something that 99% of people wouldn't delcare. Even if you did it doen't increase the power but just how effectively that power is transfered. It would be like insuring your car for more when you've got better tyres cause you have more grip

In short, don't worry IMHO

To be honest, with the power figures you're quoting, you would get away with one of the cheaper clutch kits available.
