Aftermarket Exhaust on the new STI?
#2
Fitted a prodrive backbox (that you get as part of the ppp). Sounds much better. Goes a little bit better. The slightly stangled feel higher up the rev range has most definately gone though.
I'm told that the gains are minimal, the sound is much improved though

Litchfield Imports in Cheltenham do a full SS Exhaust system for the MY03 STI for arround £800 + VAT plus fitting...
Does anyone have one of these??
How does it stack up against the Scooby Sport exhaust?
They recon +30bhp and turbo lag reduced by 1000 revs?
BUT
the prodrive pack gives more power & tourqe only above 3000 revs...?
Surely the litchfield deal is a better one?? or am I missing something.
Anyone got any advice??

Sti03,
By replacing the BB you will relief part of the back pressure in the exhaust system. So you can expect some bhp gain... but don't look for 2 digits figures
