Dawes device is a brand on its own... its a type of bleed valve and when set up correctly ( ie: with some restraint) can be used quite succesfully...

this is not something Prodrive would use, any boost increases by prodrive are done with ECU mappping and are a much safer option ( also alot more exspensive)
