Will fitting a Magnex Resonated Center put the noise levels up at all when compared to standard.

I have just removed an un-resonated center as it was too loud for me with a TSL Backbox.

But the standard Center has made it too quite.

Will a Resonated Magnex put it somewhere in the middle ?

Quieter than what... Standard Center with TSL OR Un-Resonated with TSL.

Certainly don't want it quieter than it is at present (with Cat & TSL BB)

Sale OR Return sounds good Paul... mail me I still have the un-resonated if interested ?

You know you want to do the downpipe and resonated centre, with a quiet backbox it is a very nice compromise. I happily used it to do visits in residential areas at 3 am. None of the neighbours noticed THAT exhaust

Bet that is not the case now John aye mate!

Was it too loud in the car or outside??

You could lag the centre if it is too loud inside..?

Thumbs up

Scott,
Not what you asked but i thought i'd tell you,i have a s sport downpipe with the catted centre and a mania backbox and the sound is perfect not too loud, just nice, screams at high revs and the missus even thinks its ok so maybe keep the centre cat to keep it legal and get a ss dp.The ss dp is a lot quiter than the magnex one as i had one of these before the magnex did sound better though.

Yes as Paul suggests sell your centre and get a downpipe and lag it.. reduces the sound inside..

My missus is fine with full decat... think she must be going deaf..

yep, ditto cant rate the magnex DP more highly, much better to keep the OE centre in and lag up the front pipe. Its just so perfect. sorry to gush, but its true. Increased everything including MPG! beat that with the replacement centre section!

enjoy.
