Unhappy

OK. I need help. All the noises i'm hearing are driving me mad!! Are they in my head??

The latest one is at 1500rpm in any gear while driving. Its a sort of whistling noise. Any ideas would be great!

The second is a whining noise that I tend to get on full lock at slow speed. Is this normal??

The car is an my99 UK turbo........

Please help..... people rarely answer my posts.

Thanks!

Pete

the whining noise at full lock at low speed is the power steering.

AFAIK all cars with power assisted steering does. All three of my scoobs have as does my Dad's last 2 mondeo's!

My 99 has funny noise syndrome on full lock at low speed, as does most cars with power steering.
As for the other one, the only real answer is to let a mechanic hear it.
Sorry, not much use
