0.5bar boost confirmed causes?

Besides the "noise emissions test" thing, does anyone else know of a confirmed fault that would cause the boost to be held at 0.5bar?

Happened this morning for an instant, in gear 3 and gear 4. Once I changed to gear 5 it was back to normal. Didn't see any det on the KL, not even 1 green. Was prob using about half throttle tops.

Thoughts?

not sure but if the MAF sensor goes I think boost is dropped to 8psi. Is that the same as .5 bar, I don't know....
