H-beam vs I-Beam Conrods
I have been looking around the various brands of performance rods. There are both I-beam and H-beam designs and there seems to be conflicting views as to the pros/cons of each design.
Can experience engine builders/enthusiast please set the record straight?
Also is a lighter conrod better? - I have read that it's the weight of the pistons that is more important and over light conrods mean less torque.
Thanks in advance!

Couldn't help you to any real extent with the weight/strength thing on the conrods, but there have been previous discussions about this (the search now seems to work correctly too!) and the outcome there really was if you turn an H sideways it becomes an I anyway
(in other words it's the overall specifications of the thing which is important rather than what the shape is - fair enough!)
