Thread size of sump plug

Guys,

I've looked through the workshop manual for the WRX and it doesnt mention the thread size of the sump plug.

I would greatly appreciate it if someone could help me out and let me know. Cheers,

From memory, it looked like some BSP size with taper. It was quite a fine thread.

I do remember that it screwed into the old oil filter... (Why I tried that I don't know... )

If you'd asked last week, I'd have measured it when I changed the oil.

don't think its BSP - imperial measurements not legal tender in Japan.
Probably a fine pitch metric. actual size - dont know
