Is the Boost COntrol Solenoid on an MY00 the blue thing on the n/s strut top ? It has 2 pipes going to it and I beleive these run a 2-port solenoid.

I have just changed from an MY94 to an MY00 and am trying to lacte all the 'Servicable' items.

As you look at the the drivers side strut from the front of the car, its the one nearest the wing of the car on the MY00.

Two pipes, one at the bottom ciming in to it at 90degrees and the other on the side at a straight angle.

You can trace one of the pipes back to the actuator, and one to the carbon cannister IIRC.

Hope its clear.
