Looking for quick answer here - Dawes FCL vs HKS FCL
#1
Which is going to be the better method?
I have the infamous DIY FCD at the moment and i'm finding that the 'defend zone' is what's causing my boost spikes, i.e. where the ecu see's a clamped zone (from 14psi until 19.5psi)
I have decided that it would be far better to use an FCL that still allows the map to see steady boost rise, but at a reduced overall rate.
I am thinking of either the dawes FCL unit, or the HKS.
At the moment i'm swinging towards the dawes route (i have ordered one), but i'm wondering if the HKS might be better.
Cheers

Thank you John.
That was the angle i was leaning to, so you have confirmed my thoughts.
I wonder how easy it would be to modify my FCD to give a linear defend zone rather than a step defend zone???
Gonna order the HKS item instead, maybe i'll fiddle around with my FCD at some point.
Thats once again for your help, i know you are busy and appreciate you taking time out to help me.
Cheers
