full decat with standard back box and forge VTA dump valve how much difference will it make to 01 WRX ?

VTA dv will add nothing except maybe larger fuel bills.The full decat might see to about another 15-20 BHP and better turbo spool up if you have the downpipe.The standard backbox is quite restrictive so would benefit from changing.Biggest gain is usually from the downpipe though as the factory one has a cat and is very badly designed.

Thanks for the info,how much for uppipe&downpipe already got mid cat replacement or best price on whole system & what does it sound like ? PS on tight budget!

Mandy,on the classic car it was loud.With the extra soundproofing of the new car its quite civilised.I'm actually finding it a little quiet hence thinking about getting something louder.C'ant give you a price on the seperate bits yet as I'm really hoping to sell in one lot hopefeully to someone close by so they can collect.I'll stay in touch though.
