Question

Whats the best and correct order to uprate the fueling on a scooby ????

My 96 RA is getting up-rated but the fueling hasn't yet been touched & i know with a hybrid it will get thirsty.

Pump, Filter, Injectors ????

What do people recommend ?

Who's doing the uprating? They should be advising what is required dependant on your wishes - fuelling is a rather large subject

Minimum is the pump to ensure sufficient flow to your current injectors.

Injectors will likely become an issue next, if your intercooler can cool the charge enough to stop the engine going bang

Maybe now would be a good time for knock and lambda monitoring too?

cswminty - I don't want to be rude, but are you happy risking your engine like this? You need at least an understanding of detonation likelyhood and AFR before you emabark on this sort of excercise (IMHO ).

Really not trying to be rude,

I'd start by fitting knock and lambdalinks now - this will let you see how things are running currently and gives you a good baseline for once you start modifying stuff. How much power do you want to achieve?

Well the cars off the road at the moment waiting to have the clutch done and i'm deciding upon a flywheel.

I have Apexi Power FC, TSL Firestorm complete system(turbo), Pipercorss and i have a hybrid Turbo thats front entry so i have got to make some mods to make it work - so while i'm working on it thought i might sort the fuel out if i could.

Needs some sensors too then i guess.

I'm saving for a Front mount. Been offered a pace for 900 but there was a thread about someone making them for around 500.
