technically it should improve flow, it may also be lighter, and failing that just think of the 'wow' factor when you pop the bonnet!!!

post some pics when u've fitted it...

Cheers

Ps: i would of thought group A regs allowed a cone filter?!? maybe its a group N box?

five pint it is group a carbon box...it replaces all the spa ce where the old box sat,and inside the box it has a pipe for a cone filter and then the top half is a fairly big sheet of carbon to seal the hot air out it has a cold air tube running from inside the wheel well into bottom of box...looks cool but does it work.....apparently these are £900 from prodrive...the guy is asking £250....is that a good deal????????

Cool... sounds very nice, a good deal is a price ur willing to pay for something want... for me 250 lids is a bit OTT for an air filter but if thats ur bag then go for it, just dont forgetto post some pics when its fitted... u could also compare prices of other carbon filter kits, but at least with prodrive u know its been properly engineered for the impreza

Cheers

I've got the BPM 'carbon' cold air box but there are so many holes in and around it that I doubt it does anything!

Thumbs up

i have fitted a BMC carbon air box to my 95wrx, it is a K&N style filter with a carbon shield around it to protect it from heat with an air feed running to the front bumper for cold air pick up.

i will post some pics of it when i get my car back from having the headers and up pipe ported
