Going to fit another d/p saturday, hoping the new open neck one i've got coming will solve my boost creep troubles(put down to HKS d/p)

Anyway I'm sure i read about the heatshield needs cutting, just want advice on what people used to cut it as I want the job ready to complete as I normally get halfway through and set off for the tool shop

hack saw and file done a fin job

I used a pair of heavy-duty tin-snips. I've some pics on my website under cars->modifications if you want ot see where to cut it.

i used tin snips, and hammered it into shape.

i cut a load of slits to allow it to be bent around pipe rather than cut it all away

I used a jigsaw to get a nice clean cut, and if I want to put it back to standard it's quite an easy job as the shield hasn't been mullered
