95 wrx jap import. the exhaust outlet pipe measures 4.5 inches across. is this the standard jap exhaust or has it been added at a later date. i only ask as most of the exhausts for sale in various places are only about 3.5 inches across.

it could be a JASMA certified uprated jap exhaust... but not overly loud..

sort of m8. the back box is more rounded, not an ovally shape like yours, and if you look squarely into the tail pipe it actually restricts slightly.
if someone would let me know how to attach a picture then i might be able to get my hands on a digital camera.

no m8 it looks nothing like that. well come to think of it, it does slightly in that it has a back box and a tail pipe, other than that nope.

well o crawled under the car and managed to get a brand name of the exhaust. its a 5-zigen, 100 mm exhaust outlet with 90 mm pipe. does anyone know if this exhaust is any good. also having inspected the car a bit more closely i think it may have been lowered as well. there is only about 1 to 1.5 inches from the top of the 215/40 R17 to the arch. would this lead you to believe that the car has infact been lowered.

yep looks just like it. the big bend in pipe under that car gives it away. **** me $729 (£450) can't be that bad then. well chuffed
